Wicked and Bonny Records presents the second official release “Comm’è Cara”, a new Single featuring the great Sista Manu on the Mic Stand. Out on the 15th February on all digital platforms and the official music video out on Reggaeville.com.
A strong tune as the lyrics of Sista Manu that tells us about the reality in which we live, where more and more the disparity between classes crushes workers, students and families forcing them to a precarious life. Wicked & Bonny increase the power of the message with a production that always lives up to their now recognizable sound.
“The message of the tune is simple: The Rents are to high, we can not take this no more. The income of the student, working class and for the ghetto people is not enough To live a healthy live . Equality must be rebuilt. Gentrification is a problem. This system is unequal!
Reggae Music is here to talk about in justice, and so we do!” Wicked and Bonny Records
“Comm’è cara” means “how expensive it is!” and was written to denounce the spreading phenomenon of touristification and house crises present in all the big Cities. The city of Napoli has always been protecting its roots and tradition as part of our cultural heritage but nowadays this tradition has become food for the unbridled tourism. […] Our appeal is to restore the basic principles of humanity, to stimulate and pursue the connection among us to create better life conditions that can be truly useful to the world’s evolution as a whole.” Sista Manu
