After the release of “Signal From East” with Radit Echoman, Bean Lamen and JC Junior, the dub unit of sound system culture from Jakarta – Indonesia, Yella Sky Sound System, finally released its sophomore album, “Hybrid And Various” on June 1st, 2022 in various DSPs.
With a “collaboration” theme, Yella Sky Sound System brings many guests in this 10 tracks LP. Beside the name above, there’s also special international names who shared their touch on “Hybrid And Various” from the likes of Bojay (karinding, bamboo flute and angklung), Denis Slepo (bass), Dub Pit (bassist from R.Esistence In Dub, Italy), King I (melodica, Malaysia), King Mad (keyboards), Papa Ical (bass) and Sami (producer and melodica from Roadblock Dub Collective) and also Eek-A-Mouse (Jamaica), King Spade (Philippines), Mehdiman (Germany), King Masmus, Mighty Che and Tuan Jenggo who shared their power on vocal department.
All arrangements are mixed and mastered through Echolabs. The artwork itself was done by KINGMAD and the animation was directed by Iqbal Surya Perdana.
