When we said we start with a bang, we meant it literally. The new Bing Bang produced track ‘Style Style’ carries all the signature sounds from Bay-C as he collaborates with newcomer Lawless. Laced on an eerie hip-hop/trap beat with a ‘Style Style’ sample playing through the entire song, the soundtrack begs for gritty content. Bay-C kicks off the track with ‘Badman we nuh tek style style’ and you can imagine the rest. A classic badman track!
The collaboration is with Trinidad based deejay Lawless, who pledges allegiance to Aidonia’s 4th Genna crew. Lawless has longtime seen himself as a protoge to the ‘Yeah Yeah’ deejay, hence the Genna reference in the song. Bay-C spits fire representing his hometown of Portmore and other signature Jamaica areas while Lawless does the same for Port of Spain and other Trinidad areas.
